This is awesome. A buddy of mine had these in his STi and they were great. Click and go! I am getting a set for sure.

Nice for the E92 guys. I have them in my E46 and love them. But if I'm being honest I still yearn for a half cage, seats, and a harness.

But, for what these cost they are awesome and keep you very nicely planted. My one tip is spend for the Pro rather than the base model. I got a pro on the drivers side and wish I'd done the same for the passenger side rather than getting the non-pro.

Hey Guys,

We managed to get some more information on the QuickFit and the QuickFit Pro. They'll start shipping the first week of September.

MSRP on the QuickFit is $235, and the QuickFit Pro is $335. The Pro can be used with a HANS device. Colours available are Black, Blue, Red and Silver.

We'd be happy to set up a Group Buy if there's interest!

The few times I've dealt with HMS they've been awesome. So I'd have to think they would.

Cool! We've got a thread over here for the group buy. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=879623

We'll post more information about the harnesses here.

Quick Fit Pro - Conventional 4 point restraints do not join at a center Cam Lock, they are sewn to lap belts leaving them almost 6-8 inches apart from each other. The design of the Quick Fit Pro is such that both shoulder belts angle in towards the Cam Lock facilitating use with a HANS Device.

Like the Standard Quick Fit Harnesses, the Quick Fit Pro clicks into the car's female seat belt receptacles. This alerts the airbag computer to the fact that someone is in the seat and restrained, as well as takes advantage of the seat belt pre-tensioner. This device ignites a pyrotechnic charge in the event of an accident that will tighten the lap belt. This integration into the factory safety system is a very important part of the Schroth Quick Fit Pro.

Quick Fit - The Quick Fit Belts also take advantage of the factory seat belt pre-tensioner, a device that tightens the belt 1-2 inches in the event of an accident. The Airbags will deploy as the engineers of the system intended for someone buckled in. With any other harness, the car wouldn't detect that someone was buckled in, so the airbags would deploy faster and harder.

In the pic I can see two male buckles (that go into female seatbelt receptacles). How do the other two anchors attach?

Thanks.

The install is actually pretty straight forward. The sides with the seatbelt clips obviously just clip into the existing seat belt holders.

The side with the eyelets basically bolt into anchor positions in the car. They attach permanently. But you'll notice that they do have seat belt clips and receptacles, so when they're not being used, you just unclip them and you're good. The portion of the strap with the eyelet stays in the car, but it's a pretty small strap.

just did my first track day with the e46m version of the pro - with a hans.

Spectacular. They held me in place so well I was able to drive instead of hold on.

Any difference between the new e9x harness and the Mini R55 version?

Does anyone know if there will be any real difference (other than a tag on the harness saying is it approved for e9x) from the Mini R55 version?

Our understanding is that the strap lengths are different (longer) in order to allow the largest degree of adjustment possible.
