WTB E92 M3
Looking to purchase a 2010 onwards E92 M3.
DCT, white preferred, less than 100,000kms. I realise that my budget of $40,000 isn't that large but its all that I've got and close to the trade in prices. In Perth, but happy to travel. |

$40k for a 2010 or newer with 100k kms or less will be extremely tough. That’s the actual transacted price of a 2007/2008 with about 80ks or so or a higher mileage 2009.

I could go for a 2009. Wanted the CIC.
LED taillights were a bonus. Budget can't be increased but spec could be decreased Last edited by reggiegums; 09-11-2018 at 01:17 AM.. |

Just a view but if your buying a second hand euro ar the bottom end of the price range you either have to be patient and negotiate hard. Plus you need a couple extra grand on top of the purchase price to fix odds and sodd and do a major service. You need to keep on top of preventative maintenance on these cars.

So why don't you throw wholesale prices at those cars. I have never paid advertised price on a private sale and the worst you can do is get a go and get $%^&^% over the phone or by email.

Thanks for all your comments and I'm taking it all as positive feedback and tips to buy smart. $40k is the buy figure and I know I have to keep some in reserve for the extras like brakes, tyres, service, stamp duty etc.

the CIC conversion isnt as expensive as it used to be before. same with LED tail lights. if you get an early model for 40 then keep an eye online for good deals with CIC etc it ll end up being a nice car by the end of it

They are a large volume dealer so wont come down much on the price. Car looks lowered ? Also brand new plates so recently licensed (transferred).
They would have paid max $38k for this I reckon. |

Based on previous experience they wont even take 43500 unless its sitting there for a bit, but yeh go for a drive and then ask.
Personally I would wait for lower km example |
