Buy a WOOLWORTHS store for only £19.99!

Yes, after 99 years Woolworths will soon be no more.

BUT WAIT!

Why not buy your very own store for only £19.99!!?

I saw this while out shopping today for some last minute xmas gifts. Kinda made me laugh / feel bad. What a crappy way to reach a century.

Woolworths has been around 99 years in the UK. Pretty much every town or city had a store.

I used to shop at Woolworth. Woolworth even had a restaurant inside the store.

I remember Woolworth's in the US when I was a bit younger.

There are still a few scattered around Germany. Wal-mart left Germany a couple years ago though....

I remember they had a Woolworths down in Florida. They closed down when I was really young though.

Oh sure... I do recall shopping around in some area Woolworth stores way back when. I remember they had a pet section that sold fish and birds too. Geesh... it has to be over twenty years ago, if not longer. Maybe my grandkids would like this item to be under the tree on Thursday, huh?

Woolworth closed all its US stores and operation in 1997 and only operates its sporting goods division under Foot Locker brand name now. It still operates in UK, Germany, Austria, Mexico and S. Africa.
