Nice run op always good to see the supercharged beast in action; especially against stated supercars. Win or lose.

Nope, this same exact 458. Earlier in the night I ran with Skooterbrah and the 458 and pulled the 458 pretty hard. The videos above were from later that night. Altitude is a major factor.

I can see altitude playing against an ESS car but an N/A Ferrari should'nt be penalized that much! How much crank hp does your 335 have!?

Seriously? An NA car not effected, but a supercharged car is? In what reality do you live in that statement makes any sense?

Exactly I'm no expert but isn't it the opposite. Forced induction helps make up for altitude, or is less affected by it.

At a mile high I bet the 458 couldn't trap 115. A stock turbo 335 with a tune, downpipes, filter and water/meth should have the power at 5,000+ feet to do that.

Although the 335 would need traction mods (LSD, sticky tires, etc) to get the 458 from a dig.

Relaxe bud!
I know an N/A car is more affected then a turbo car, but to the point a stock turbo 335 would pass a 458, that surprise me a lot, that's it!

As for the supercharged cars being less affected then N/A cars, I would expect an ESS car to be more affected by altitude then the usual car that is supercharged from the factory. With the ESS kit, the blower always spins at the same speed no matter the density of the air, which means our car can have a big variation in boost depending on the altitude! I'm no expert but that's the way I see it!

And please, don't worry for me, I live in the same reality as everyone that knows a bit about cars!

I don't know the altitude of this particular place in Mexico but I'd be surprised if a 458 would trap lower then 125mph there, we're talking about a car that trap 132mph in good conditions! Since you're knoledgable
about these cars, I'd be curious to know what is the best traps you've seen for a stock turbo 335 on pump gaz!

Not exactly sure, but on average the last I checked (a year ago or so), at sea level, pump gas e85 335's can make 450 RWHP and trap 120-124. Pump gas + water/meth 335's make 400-430 RWHP and trap 118-120. Tune only 335's on pump are something like 350-370 RWHP and trap anywhere from 109-113. At 5,000 feet these numbers are affected but not as much as an NA car like the 458 or ESS S/C M3. The OP make 613 RWHP but that was "corrected". In reality his car only made something like 500 RWHP but the dyno whether station adjusted for altiture through the barometric pressure variable.

That hurt my brain lol! Does ESS use an altitude challenged vortech unit or do the cars have a different redline than that of a car at or close to sea level? You do realize that supercharger's rpm is directly proportional to the engine's, no?
What car are we discussing here that is supercharged from the factory? :

Exactly, if the s/c spin at the same RPM no matter the air density, then the blower should build less psi when the air is less dense! No!? : Please, correct me if there's something I don't understand!

As for factory supercharged cars, like an S4, they have target boost just like turbo cars, so the computer will compensate for thin air by making the blower spin faster to produce that target boost, no!? : Maybe I'm beside the track here but if so drop your poutine and explain!

So you probably agree that a stock turbo 335 will need ALL the stars alligned(+ all the bolt-ons and probably e85) to be able to beat a 458 on the highway, IF this is even possible!

I'm not doubting COMplex but he said that stock turbo and a tune will do the job to beat a 458, I'd really like to know what mods he has and how much hp!

Actually the supercharged S4 uses a wastegate to reach it's target boost level.
Superchargers all suffer less than an NA application, but I'm sure there is some variance between the units. There's still a lower barometric pressure, so boost pressure will still be lower across the board.

You can have my poutine when you pry it from my cold dead fingers. That stuff is tough to come by. 1MOREMOD had to smuggle it in from Mehico in his man cave
