Thanks...... after seeing that I had to go out and order one. Now I opened the CF can of worms and need the Kidney grilles and side markers. Then the front spoiler and rear diffuser will be next. As much as I tried to avoid it.... it was inevitable

for me i try to keep a basic trend through out the car. For example if i go with matte grills ill go matte side vents matte lip so on. I think in your case if you don't have anything carbon fiber on your car so the spoiler will look weird IMO however if you have a matte black rook maybe you could do a matte spoiler? just a thought. Im sure whatever you do it will looks good!

AW painted spoiler looks perfect!

Now someone needs to mold and paint the spoiler to the trunk

Ordered it yesterday afternoon and it came in today.... that's quick. I have been searching for grilles, gills, eyelids, and a rear diffuser now. An interesting point was brought to my attention.. I was looking into CF trunk lids(or boot lids, whatever you want to call them) and it was suggested that the trunk is a stress point and that CF would not take the hit as BMW intended for safety. If the car has a cage for the tack your fine but for street use is it worth the added weight savings. Don't get me wrong they look very cool, but something to consider.

Will IND offer these already painted?

Does anyone know if someone like IND will offer these already painted like they do for the front reflectors?

I totally agree about keeping a trend...however...in my case....My grills are cf, my splitters are cf.....diffuser is cf....but it got damaged...so now its gloss black. Roof is gloss black, and now side mirrors are also gloss black. TBH, I dont think my setup looks bad at all...The CF spoiler (which is betalinked, mind you), looks nice with the gloss black diffuser.

Hope this gives everyone a feel for how the painted CF BMW Performance spoiler looks on an AW e92!!

I like the look - more subtle than unpainted but more aggressive than the stock spoiler.
The spoiler looks great painted on an AW car! I'm about to get one and do the same thing.

I was wondering, what do you guys think of painting the spoiler AW then leaving the dented part exposed CF? So if you see the car from the back, a part of it will be CF. Anyone...?

I just got rid of that dealer car and got a new 2011.5 yesterday. Its the exact car except i got the carbon roof on this one. I had to order another spoiler bc i didnt want to take the one off on my old car bc i was afraid it would damage, so i will have the new painted spoiler installed and do proper photos this coming week and post them up.

and yes Klassens rims + 315 toyo's ftw!

I picked up my ZCP spoiler yesterday from a board member here. I've gotta say, after quickly test fitting it to see what it would look like, I like the CF look on AW more than in pictures. Obviously hard to tell until the other one is removed and it sits properly, but I'm thinking I might leave it CF for now, then paint it when/if i get tired of it.
