Baking the headlamp for Angel Eye repair

I currently have the BavarianX LS3 v3 angel eyes. The other day I noticed my drivers side outer ring only lights up half of the side of that individual ring. If I knock on the headlamp lightly it will blink in an out. I think a contact point or wire has come loose. I noticed the ring itself seems to have separate from the plastic backing slightly. Has anyone attempted baking these lamps open?

Guide I was considering following.

Who is LS? It looks like Luce Produkts Dual Orbs. I have theirs and had quite a bit of problems. QC doesn't exist in their product.
