Splashguards?
I bought my 2011 e92 m3 used and am wondering if it's missing a splash guard on the undercarriage. I saw this part, with e92 m3 listed under fitment, and bought it knowing that I don't have anything covering either oil drain plug. Then I realized there's no place where this piece could attach. Here's my undercarriage. Is there an undercover missing?

I've been extra salty lately. Not sure why.

Haha - cool, thanks. I went deep down a rabbit hole of options packages, build dates, and markets on realoem.com and still couldn't figure it out before asking here. It seems whatever parts system a lot of the bmw parts retailers use is wrong.
I like to keep things clean so leaks are obvious and easy to pinpoint. My other car is 17 years old and sees track time so it's a habit. I actually do have occasional rubbing on the front fender liners too - 20's with slightly oversized tires on the competition package. Probably only a matter of time... |
