No one knows. It’s like a lottery. Motors have failed with 6k miles. The majority of bearings that come out look bad. Still, most of these cars seem to be running fine. You have to do your own risk assessment.

Do what your budget and paranoia allows you. I changed mine because I didn't know the previous owners and considering how much BMW drivers take care of their cars........ I decided to change mine!
