Hello,
Per the previous owner, @Tag4747, are the tires same Pilot Supersports at the time of sale? Do you have both keys, the OEM cover, and the tow hook license plate mount? Was the vehicle garaged, do you have service records? Could a PPI be arranged, are you familiar with Precision Sport Industries in Oviedo, Florida, is that near you? Any experience with them? Thank you. |

I think the market for E90/E92s is softening a tad. I'm in the market for an E90 to complement my E92 and have been keeping an eye on prices for 6 months or so.
If this car did not have NAV, it would likely be gone. Those willing to pay a premium for low mileage are looking for unicorns. |

Curious - why does the NAV option hurt the sale?

From what I’ve seen, the most sought after configuration seems to be as minimalist as possible. (No NAV / no sunroof etc).
I am most certainly biased, but an increased demand for the lack of features seems backwards to me. You could argue the appeal of the cleaner dash line without NAV and maybe a weight savings or structural rigidity improvement without sunroof, but I’ve always thought it’s splitting hairs. To each their own |

IMO, as cars begin to age and cross into the collectors realm options like NAV begin to really date the car. Also, collectors that would want an older M3 are seeking a pure driving experience. Options that support that, Competition Package, no sunroof (lower center of gravity), etc add to the driving experience.
That's my opinion at least. |

PS- the first thing I do when I get in my E92 is turn off the display completely and wish it had no nav. |

Not really. It’s quite overpriced IMO. Once you get closer to $30k it should sell quickly

Thank you for the comments gentlemen. I think the price is pretty dialed in. I’ve had a couple solid offers in the mid 30 range, but I’m not in a hurry to sell and am willing to wait until the buyer comes along looking for this spec. Thanks again!

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2011-bmw-m3-48/ I give the BaT car a nice plus for the slicktop and warranty but a big minus for not being stock. at least that is how I would look at it as a potential buyer. to the original poster/seller, I always suggest BaT for rare low mileage cars like yours. |

good luck!
good luck with the auction, I think it will do well. in most cases, all the real bidding comes in the last hour of the auction so don't worry if it sits for a few days with only a few low bids.

Yep, good luck! I'm watching very intently as a fellow owner. I think it should do really well.

spdylude Are you able to share what the reserve is on this listing? I'm assuming that if you previously turned down offers in the mid-30's here, your reserve is close to what your asking price is in this listing?
Not trying to stir the pot, but I thought this might be a safer or more appropriate place to ask than the comments section of the BaT listing. I'm a very interested potential bidder, but trying to determine my target price given the additional buyer's fees and maintenance items that will need to go into it as brought to light from the PPI in the BaT listing. Thanks |

Meticulist - thank you for the interest in the car! I’m going to play by BaTs recommendation this round and keep the reserve quiet. If the auction doesn’t work out for some reason, please reach out and we can discuss further. Thanks again!
