Someone buy this... 2008 E92 M3 - 8990 miles only.
Saw this posted on facebook, holy shit.
Someone buy this. If I lived in USA this would have been a no-brainer. $40k is not bad considering this S65 isn't even really "broken-in" yet. |

Priced high? It only has 9k miles. Your basically saving 35k off of new. I never understand saying it’s too high priced because it’s 9 years old. At the end of the day your basically getting a brand new car for half off.

As a comparison point, my Dad picked up an '08 with 15k miles on it for $34k. 6 speed, silverstone over silverstone, carbon roof. Seller was asking $37k.
Thought he got a steal on it, though. |

Pricing is just fine. It's roughly how much I paid for my 8200 mile E90 M3....Back in 2010

As I said above, back in 2010, I paid $45 for the same mileage 2008 sedan. If it was my experience, then he ate 5k for depreciation for looking at it for 7 years, not bad at all. My car has 64k miles on it now and has depreciated to $27k or so.

The other plastic/rubber pieces might technically be 'fine', but they're still ten years older than all the parts on a new(er) car.

Here's a '13 with 4k miles for $46k. I'd take this all day long over an '08 for $40k.

It's all depreciation from here on out if you drive it.
Unless you're really itching for a like new E92, I would just buy a cream puff with ~40k miles, drive it for a few years, and then get most of the money back. I'm also more a fan of cars that are driven and maintained than ones that sit around. |
