Style 359 Wheel Option on E93

looking for some schooling.......

So as a long time BMW owner but new to M3 ownership, I was curious about the style 359 wheels showing as not available for the E93 in the M3 brochure? My E93 has style 220's (which I also have on my E92) but I've always liked those 359's. Is it just taboo to put them on an E93?

Is there a fitment issue that would keep them off the E93 chassis? ET's might be too tight? I see the competition package was not available for the E93.....

The 220's are:
front ET 29
Rear ET 33

the 359's are:
front ET 31
rear ET 25

359 on E93 would look dope. And work just fine.

They fit fine on the E93, just wasn't offered as an option. If you find a set, purchase with confidence. They will look awesome.

15mm front spacers and 12mm rear spacers are perfect for 359s on the E9x M3!!!

I had this set up on my e93 back when I had it and I would advise against it. The 220's work so much better on a e93 while the 359's looked rather out of place. Most of it was due to the stock height. The zcp's have 10mm lower stance which actually makes a difference visually. It will look better once it's lowered, but it just didn't look as classy as the 220's did especially with the top down.

I used to have them on my E93 with 15mm and 12mm MS spacers on stock suspension, looked phenomenal IMO, and I always got compliments.

Thanks! No rubbing at all! I took numerous trips from NW Indiana into Chicago with four adults in the car, on roads that are far from perfect, but never had issues with rubbing.

There we go! Best of luck with the hunt. Make sure you request for detailed pictures if not buying from a local seller and cannot see them in person. I had an honest seller who disclosed that there were some surface chips, that could've otherwise been difficult to see on photos.

Fyi Avant Garde makes the nicest M359 replicas (imo), they are rotary forged monoblock aluminum, and even lighter than OEM.

They also come with more aggressive offsets, so you don't need spacers (+35 front and +38 rear).

I'll be getting a set of these in due time.

359 on E93

I swapped the 220s with the AG 359 OEM specs with 31F and 22 or 25R offset.
They look great and perfect fitment

You have your offsets backwards. The lower the offset, the further out from the car the wheels will stick, or the more "aggressive" they'll be.

The factory wheels are +31 front and +25 rear, and most people run spacers of 15F and 12R. The spacers move the wheels out further, so the effective offset becomes +16 front (+31-15) and +13 rear (+25-12).

The AG M359 staggered set can be had in +18 front (pretty close to the factory spec plus spacers) and +25 rear (matches the factory spec, so you'd sill want a spacer in the rear).

The other AG M359 options are +35 front (which would be 4mm more inboard than the factory wheels) and +38 rear (which would be 13mm more inboard than the factory wheels).

Of course, if you wanted to stick close to factory specs, you could do +35 front and +25 rear. That's not how most retailers bundle them, but you could do it buying individual wheels.

**note, all of that is assuming 19x9 front and 19x10 rear.

Just called **********s to check on the specs for 19" AG M359 to replace stock 19" M220s. I was recommended 19x9 ET18 for the fronts and 19x10 ET25.Does that make sense. Thank you.

That is the correct offset/width for AG 359 wheels for all E9x M3s. yes.

Fits perfectly. I do add a 3-5mm (depending on alignment and tire) to the rear to get it a little more flush with no rubbing.

Also consider Rohrich Forged (you can find them on FB). Small operation so top notch customer service, and, of course, all wheels are forged, but most importantly all wheels are custom to your spec. Whstever width or offset you want, they can do (i.e., no spacers needed). I’m placing my order asap. Their work is beautiful. Their owner has their own 359s on his E93, so you can see for yourself.
