Bimmerfile is reporting new increases effective 1/1/09.

but if the car is built Jan'09 onwards even through ordered in 2008, would it not have the new price effective Jan.1'09...ie. higher MSRP??

....even with the favorable exchange rate for BMW, they are increasing prices in this tough economic market...getting way too greedy......

Correct. It doesn't matter when the car is ordered.

Production of the next model year for an existing model generation usually starts in September.
