Changing units on digital speedo - Canadian/Euro Spec car

Hi All,

Very specific question. I know there is a way to code/turn on a digital Speedo as shown below. The question for a Canadian/euro spec car, one that has only kph on the speedo is it possible to change the digital speedo units from kph to mph?

It should be in your iDrive settings. Look for Language/Units.

Thanks, unfortunately researching for a car I’m going to buy in Canada and bring to the states so I don’t have the ability to test.

I have all the other import forms/paperwork/letters of compliance however customs requires some form of mph displayed on the dash to import. So it’s this (confirmed this is okay with customs agent). Opening the gauge cluster and replacing the speedo face, or buying a new cluster and getting programmed.

Was hoping someone might be able to confirm it work’s prior to me going to pickup the car and bring it home.
