Amazing car, I have talked myself out of E88's a couple of times, but seeing them again here on your car and Malek's make them look so good. Sometimes, they just look too small.

Beautiful build, bravo.

Appreciate all the comments! Not really much going on, haven't been driving or doing much with the car lately. Some minor changes upcoming now that I have a little more time -

BBS RIA in Diamond Silver (via Slicer) 10"/11" w/Cup 2 265/295
MRF chassis mounted lip (when it's released soon)
Akrapovic GT4 full exhaust
Lukester GT4 wing install @ MRF
Power steering fluid reservoir fix (via BMW motorcycle part)

why the rear seat delete? I understand if the car is caged and u want to clean up the look a bit, otherwise factory seats are fine. its not really saving any weight. good looking car though. blue on black is nice.

It saves around 70lbs, and it looks cleaner.

Cannot wait to see all of this! Lots of pics of the GT4 wing please. This is larger than the GTS wing, correct? Curious to see how it all looks.

Garage List
Need to complete the Eventuri intake with the CF Airbox Cover.

Venoxy Vinyl Gauge Overlays from Poland. Grey/White like an E46 M3 CSL would look great with the grey interior. Just did mine...WoW.

And then an IND Custom Painted Plenum...

The wing is currently sitting at MRF waiting to be installed, hopefully I'll be able to have MRF get it on within a few weeks. And you're correct, the GT4 wing is wider, and with the mounts I got it will also be higher set. I purchased the tall wing mounts from Sky Motorsports since it was very hard to find the Lukester wing mounts. I believe they're all the same 7075 aluminum though. Most likely I'll take them to our anodizer to have them Type 3 hard anodized if the finish starts to wear (not sure what coating they use). Either way the GT4 wing is very pretty and surprising light.

Thanks for the input! Ideally I'd get a Eventuri full setup for the plenum, we'll see though.

This guy just showed up , the Akra GT4 x pipe is due here tomorrow. Excited to get these on the car.

Well the GT4 exhaust is on and it's definitely different than any other setup I've had. It has a lot more bass than the Corsa, but not so much that it's intrusive. It also has a bit of rasp up top but it still sounds fantastic.

One of the things that stands out to me is how much quieter it is in the car at freeway speeds. With the Corsa and Eisenmann Race every single noise/pop the car made was pushed into the cabin. With the GT4 x pipe/Akra catback there's no drone, despite having no back seats and some light gutting. I'm not sure if this is due to the lack of resonators, since I was using the MS resonated catless x-pipe before. So, while it sounds somewhat quiet IN the car, it's actually louder than you think outside the car.

Out of all the exhausts/x pipe's I've had for this car, it seems like this is the most true to the S65 exhaust note. For whatever reason, outside the car I can hear more intake noise as well. There is a noticeable increase in power/torque in the lower RPM's too, which I feel like this car has always been lacking in. I didn't expect the power bump to be as obvious as it was, which was very nice.

I'll be sure to get some videos of this exhaust in the coming weeks/months, since (for whatever reason) it seems impossible to find any videos of this setup on YouTube. I'm very happy that I picked this up, especially since I got a great deal on it. This will be my last exhaust setup on this car; that's how good it sounds.

Exhaust options are so overwhelming.

I've honestly had no idea where to start, but that's a really compelling description and sounds like it suits the car.

Would love to hear a clip when you get a chance to film!

The Akra whether with GT4 or EVO xpipe both seem to have a different sound I don't think you get with any other exhaust system available. I like it but it's definitely a bit more tame sounding to me.

It definitely is. My Corsa was my favorite up until this point. I will definitely get some clips 👍🏻

It is certainly more tame and not as obnoxious as some others, but I like how refined it sounds.

Well I further delayed the AP brakes with another unnecessary modification lol. Pretty happy with how well this Eventuri plenum (and intake) cleans up the engine bay. It only took around an hour and a half and the fitment was spot on. Unfortunately due to my exhaust a lot of the sound coming from the plenum gets buried. However, outside of the car it sounds great. As I mentioned on Instagram, for my car the plenum is more of a modification for everybody outside of the car than for the driver. That's not a knock on Eventuri, but I don't think you can really expect to hear any plenum (be it Eventuri, Karbonius, etc...) over a catless non-resonated exhaust configuration. The rear seat delete also adds a lot of exhaust noise in the car as well.

Above 4-5k rpm in the cabin it's slightly deeper and it goes really well with the exhaust note. I think the Akrapovic GT4 exhaust with the Eventuri plenum is the final exhaust/sound setup I'll have on this car. It sounds so good outside of the car and it now has a presence that it didn't have before. The intake sound as it's headed towards you and the mix of the exhaust note when it passes by is perfect. Thanks again to Ryan at iND for getting this over to me so quickly.

Thanks!

------

Another trip to MRF and wrapped a few things up. The fitment on my old diffuser had always bothered me so I switched to a Varis tray

I also don't think I'll be able to drive around with this wing on all the time

Any other thoughts or impressions on the combo of solid subframe bushings and the CF driveshaft? Considering those two at the same time in the near future. Great build!

I didn't notice what a big difference they made until I had the Clubsports (stiffer) coil overs put on since my old coil overs were set on the loosest setting. Before the solid bushings, hitting a pot hole/large bump would unsettle the car whereas now with the aluminum bushings the car feels and stays much more planted. It's feels like the car is planted on the road better if that makes sense.

As far as the CF driveshaft it feels like you can access the power a little easier now. Basically it takes less effort to get up to speed and maintain that speed, which is nice at low speeds since with the DCT it's somewhat jumpy anyways. I think the MFactory CF drive shaft that I have on it removes around 15lbs of rotational mass.
