tbone's 2013 Le Mans E92 *got no production #, but got mods* build thread
I have a '13 E92 in the order bank, but don't have a production number yet. Not sure if I'm crazy, bored, excited or a little of everything, but I've started accumulating mods for the car
2013 M3 Coupe Lemans Blue Metallic Palladium Silver/Black/Black Leather Carbon leather Trim DCT Premium Package Enhanced Premium Sound Will be a slow build, but here we go... 1) Shoes BBS LM-R (Amuse Offsets) 20x9 +8 20x10 +18 Tires TBD. I'm considering rebuilding this wheel into a 3-piece 20x10, 20x11 wheel w/ polished or chrome lips 2) Suspension Car will be a daily driver....but you never know KW V3 Front springs replaced with swift springs (10kg/560 lb) to start GC race camber plates 3) 3D Design Pedals Last edited by tbone28; 06-22-2012 at 12:40 AM.. |

You're off to a roaring start! No point in waiting around for the car to show up or else you'll be waiting even longer for parts. I'm dying for LM-Rs also. Was there a wait period for those or did someone have them in stock?

Thanks everyone for your nice words
@Kwando: I bought the last set of this setup here in the US. Next shipment in a few months @Powerbeast: I'm curious why you say to leave the rims alone. |

Pricey, but they are nice. I'm hoping a used dead pedal pops up here before my car arrives. Otherwise, I'll have to spring for a new one. I'm also eyeing the 3D design e-brake lever. Well, waiting *was* my original plan too |

I agree with leaving the wheels alone. With such an aggressive offset, you will run into rubbing issues.

I'm not sure yet if I will go that route. But my reasons for considering it include: 1) wider rims 2) wider lips 3) being able to go more aggressive on rear without need to run a spacer 4) I'm not completely sold on the lip finish of the LM-R 5) flexibility in fixing a bent barrel/lip on a 3-piece wheel |
