Mocking up some bumper spats since the 295 hohos stick out a good bit. Has anyone done their own? If so what material did you use? Definitely want something sturdy but it'll need to be able to contour quite a bit

Aluminum? Easy to bend and fairly light.

Would Lowes or Home Depot carry abs plastic panels? Curious what's the best way to grab a small sheet

I've been thinking about doing this myself as well. I can't justify paying so much for the APR ones, and it would be nice to connect it to the corner of the splitter like you've done

Curious for those running a square wheel setup, what in particular did you do to tweak setup if moving from a staggered setup?

Considering going square 275 and currently on a 265/295 setup.

Is anyone here running stoptech trophies or the AP radical kit?

I have a set of trophies i am thinking of swapping out for the AP set, and looking for a bit of insight if it's worthwhile. It would roughly be about an even trade.

If you can get into the AP Radical kit for an even trade on Trophies I'd probably do it. But I highly doubt you'll see any real performance benefit/change.

I wouldn't bother with the AP kit unless you can get the one leveraging the 25mm-thick pads.

That's the one I'm eyeballing.

Drive the 275 setup first to get an idea of what you want to change. Do you have adjustable sway bars? Stiffening the front and/or softening the rear might be all you need to tweak if the car feels too loose with the square setup. Beyond that you can start playing with the dampers and ride heights.

Current setup is MCS 2WNR 500/800, Dinan adjustable front sway, SPL everything. No real limitations to setup for me right now.

but I figured the same with front sway..I'd maybe just bump the stiffness up one hole and see how it all feels.

APR makes bolt-on spats - they aren't quite that big, not cheap, but they're ready to go and pimpness guaranteed. Theirs extend all the way to the fender/bumper cover seam

I would expect 1 hole on the swaybar to be plenty to balance things back out (although I would expect the car to be understeer biased with your current setup regardless of swaybar adjustment.)

Took a chance at the 10% off Do88 oil cooler from the link shared a couple pages ago. The cooler showed up today. Now one day I will find the time to install it.

I'd initially change absolutely nothing but figured the sway bar at least gave me a little adjustability.

Looks like there's a deal on do88 parts. 10% isn't bad at all.

If anyone wants to arrange a group buy for a bigger discount, I'm in.

H/T to ///M3 Gusta Ximian and turbo_joe what an awesome deal, just ordered one myself! With the shipping discount it's about a ~16% total discount, wasn't planning on this for a few more months but had to seize the moment.

Curious if the install needs to be done in conjunction with an oil change and how much additional oil should be added to the car due to added volume?

Found a good DIY here: LINK

And some do88 specific install notes from SYT_Shadow here: LINK

The increase in size for the cooler isn't a a ton so I doubt much more oil needs to be added. I don't plan to change my oil when I do the cooler, just swap them and replace any oil I lose. I just changed my oil three weeks ago.

Rennstand by Safe Jack - is there anything else out there like it? I was considering the Quickjack, but waiting for a sale and it would be nice to have something more portable.

The idea is to use it to change out the Slon pan and the do88 big pack radiators when I get them, along with the transmission fluid on my wife's XC90.

i don't see how you're going to get that between a floor jack and the lift points of your m3. secondary to that, you don't need anything that big.

for four wheels up jobs, i have a few esco flat pads that i put under the jacking points. very sturdy, no weird sandwiching of unnecessary adapters to fit in the jacking points.

I have those, they are great. But hardly use them since I got the Quickjack
