Could someone take a look at a vehicle at JMKBMW
Pretty please!! :P
I'm looking at purchasing a M3 from out of state and would appreciate it if someone could go take a look at the vehicle and take it for a test drive just to make sure it is what it is being presented as. The M3 is located at JMK BMW and I'm in the process of purchasing it. I wouldn't mind compensating for your time/gas! Look forwards to joining the 'M' family hopefully soon! Thank you! |

I wish I could! Ive been only reading up on the M3s on this forum and haven't hit the 5 posts required to be able to PM yet. It's the only black M3 they have; it's a dct and just want to make sure everything's a-ok on my first BMW purchase!

Deposit has been put down & I'm waiting for some paperwork in the mail to be signed and sent back. Was hoping someone could take a moment to check out the vehicle and take it for a quick spin

Mark Carvalho is a great guy. He wouldn't steer you wrong. He deals with many CCA members and is a Euro/Performance Center delivery expert.

I put the deposit down a few days ago
& been traveling between airports the 5 hours. Midlifecrisis I spoke with Mark & he said you'd be willing to check out the car tomorrow while you get yours serviced? That'd be awesome! Could you take it for a quick spin too? |

I took it for a quick ride and it drives well. The motor feels fine, although I didn't redline it or push it because I wasn't in it long enough to get it fully warm. It was my first time driving a DCT, and the trans feels great. The brakes feel good, as does the suspension. It tracks perfectly straight. Mark tells me you want the original PS2s put back on it, and it still had the Conti's. I've recently switched from PS2s to DWS's for street, so it felt fine to me. Looks and feels like a very nice car. I trust Mark and JMK. Good luck with it!

I just spoke with Mark a few mins ago and he let me know you were able to stop by and check out the m3! Many thanks!
Which ones are the DWS? Mark said it currently had the contisport 3 on the wheels? I asked him if he could switch it back to the PS2s as I hear they do well in the rain and I'm going to be living around Seattle (rain capitol of the US). |

Actually, I have Conti Extreme Contact DW (dry/wet) on my M3 and DWS (dry/wet/snow) on my E46. The DW is their newer summer high performance tire. I don't know about the ContiSport 3's - but they didn't feel bad on my short drive.
I've had 2 sets of PS2's on my M3, and they're a great performance tire. The Conti's are quieter and have a somwhat softer ride, IMO. Either way, I don't think you'll be displeased.
