Older posts report they are stamped "Textar S4007" on the back and are actually rebranded Pagid RS19s. Updated the master list.

Edit to reduce confusion: These are not the OEM pads the E9X cars came with from the factory, rather these pads were sold as performance parts intended for track use.

Can confirm. My original pads had BMW logo on them and also read Textar. Ordered Textar pads which were identical without the BMW logo.

Some FYI on the S4007 from BMW, as it was also offered for the M5/M6:



The S4007 brake pad is derived from a brake pad used in motorsport which has proven itself in longdistance racing. It has been specifically developed
for increased thermal performance and meets the requirements of ECE-R 13H (statutory requirement in many countries).


It differs markedly from the standard brake pad with regard to the following characteristics, which must be borne in mind:

– Reduced comfort: The brake bad can give rise to significantly more noise. However, this does not restrict the function.

– The braking force distribution is configured on the basis of motorsport. This means dynamic cornering whilst braking is supported, and this differs significantly from the series production
configuration.

– Increased strain on the brake discs: The brake disc wears more rapidly due to the modified friction mechanisms. As a result, it is recommended that the brake disc should also be renewed when this brake pad is fitted. It is essential for the brake disc to be exchanged if there are cracks larger than 13 mm, even before the brake pad has worn down.

Safety note !
Due to its special properties, the pad responds more sensitively to external influences such as wheel rim cleaner, road salt and parking the car
with the brake disc wet. Therefore, winter operation is not recommended! Also, avoid spraying wheel rim cleaner directly onto the brake pad and disc!

BMW does not list the pulley separately and wants you to pay $180 for the pulley and bracket.

I found the pulley numbers.



Alternator/Water pump AND Power Steering/AC Compressor Adjusting Pulley

INA 55062 or BMW Part Number 11281440237

Bolt and washer just need to be removed.

EDITED TO PREVENT CONFUSION: These two pullies are different sizes, 70mm OD for the alternator/water pump tensioner pulley and 65 OD for the power steering/AC compressor tensioner pulley. Also I believe the country of origin has changed for this INA boxed product and I think the bolt hole was changed to accommodate a less expensive or different bolt design. Here is the latest info as of Dec. 2020:

It's funny, the documentation online states it is 70mm diameter. I would love to save some money on it but want to make sure it is the same. I think when the time comes I will buy an OEM assembly and measure it .

It’s the same. Mine measured the same as my original.

Even if you receive one that is 1mm off, this makes no difference.

Any news about the hood struts?
I have ordered a hood&trunk set "assembled by ECS" for the M3, got the right trunk struts with 330N hood struts. Contacted them, explained everything like 20 times, after a few confirmations they sent exactly the same (wrong) parts again
I have noticed that they have a separate product page though, which is not assigned to any vehicle and has the correct number, and even some feedback from a e93 M3 owner from 12/27/2018:

Like previous posters I have tried and failed to source the Stabilus OEM version of the hood strut without the BMW branding. Our cars have aluminum hoods and need the 200N (Force in Newtons) not the the 330N strut for a car with a heavier steel hood.

1. I ordered the wrong stabilus part from ECS Tuning. They stock the BMW part for $67 but not the Stabilus version for our cars.

2. Eeuroparts sent me the wrong part even though the description says it is 200N.
"BMW Hood Lift Support (200N) 51237900795 - Stabilus SG402058". This was the WRONG part. Was actually 330N (says 0330N on part). I called them and they said they would update their catalogue. They have not done so yet.

3. FCP Euro seems to be the best place for the BMW part (51237900795) at $66.89. HINT; leave the parts in the basket for a few days and they may send you a 5% off code.

It's a shame we can't find the Stabilus part as it would save us nearly $80 when buying a pair.

The problem I am finding is that Stabilus part 9669ZC has the wrong eject force. 9669ZC is a 300 Newton strut whereas our cars need 200N for the lighter hood. Here is how it is listed on Eeuroparts; BMW Hood Lift Support (300N) 51237900795 - Stabilus 9669ZC

Which one did you get from ecs exactly? The one that is said to fit the M3, or did you look by the part number? I bought a set dedicated for M3 and of course they sent me the wrong parts, and then after I put a claim and explained everything 10 times they sent me the same wrong parts again

I ordered Part # 51237060550 ECS Part # ES#2586659 which was my mistake (tho it does confusingly list 51237900795 in the description as a previous part number iteration). I ordered this as part of a larger order back before I was aware of the 200N/aluminum hood difficulties. I am older and wiser now!!

The part you list (51237900795 ECS Part# ES#3468858 for $19.95) looks promising. Has anyone had success with it?

I ordered and installed this Hood strut from FCP and can confirm fitment on an 08 E93 M3. I dont see why it would not work on other models in our series.

I think I'd rather pay more at the dealer for the correct struts than have the hood rocketed up everytime I open it and need to slam it shut everytime I close it. I can already see how gentle they are with it at the workshops then.

I had the 3 Series struts for about a week before I tossed them and got the correct M3 ones.

The amount of force it took to close the hood was clearly going to warp the hood over a long period of time.

Remember the hood is aluminum, not steel.
