IPE F1 Valved Exhaust [California - Bay Area]

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
EDIT: I am now looking to keep the rear section; only looking to part with the High Flow Cats & X Pipe.

Components:
  • IPE X-Pipe
($700)
  • Downpipes with High Flow Cats
($800)

Picked up this exhaust in great shape from a forum member last month and have used it for approximately 500 miles. The exhaust sounds fantastic and the dual-mode functionality is great for residential neighborhoods. While I love this exhaust, it does not pass the "girlfriend test" with the valves open and I am looking to return to my MPE.

For those who have been interested in shipping, given my time, cost of materials, and expected shipping costs, it would be $3100 shipped to the East Coast.

Shipping will probably cost you $400 minimum. I’d definitely check that out. Someone spent over $1000 to ship me this exhaust from CA to NV

Thank you dgoldenz, you raise a fair point! In the past I have used ShipNerd and have gotten decent pricing on shipping heavy & delicate freight.

Ideally this would be a local, California sale, but I understand that there are people who covet this exhaust outside of California and I do not want to exclude them from this opportunity.

Bump for SMOG-ability:

If you run this setup and change out the x-pipe to OEM for your Bi-Annual SMOG check in California, you should be able to pass the sniffer!

Here's an identical example with high-flow cats. Shout out to mkeefe 's E92!

The X-pipe looks like the one from the IPE Evo system, not the IPE F1. The IPE F1 X-Pipe has a long merge in the middle.

Monday bump!

Just completed a 1K mile trip this past weekend with my parents and the exhaust was flawless - no drone, whine, or complaints from them. It was great to toot around LA with the valves closed, then wake up early and drive some canyons on my own with the valves open.

Really impressed with the flexibility of this exhaust but I still prefer my MPE setup for the track.

Open to all offers - keep them coming

I have had it fitted to an E92 but I believe it will fit on an E90; the IPE site lists E90 / E92 / E93 for this exhaust.
