Wanting to get Titan7 Wheels - Confused about how wheel fitment and suspension works
Forgive me if I sound retarded in advance. I don't know shit about wheels. I can fix anything and can do rod bearings, brakes, etc, but don't have any idea how wheels offsets and suspension work.
I don't have any close pics of my car at the moment, but I've used the first photo to show how my car looks at the moment with stock 220M 19" wheels. I have a dilemna. The other photos, you can kind of get an idea, but there is not much room between the fender and the tire in the rear. In the front, I could probably go 9.5 no problem. So... My car is lowered. I have a little bit, just a little bit of negative camber. I have no idea what kind of coilovers/suspension my car has. I believe there are two different types, front and back, but the back is adjustable and the front is not. I believe the last owner had BBS Fi wheels on it and it looked great. I don't know what widths he had though. What I'm confused about is wheels fitment. My wheel fitment with the 220M's in the back is just how this photo looks (of the green car). I want to put 18" TITAN7 TS5's on my car, but they don't make them in 8.5 front and 9.5 rear for my M3 sedan. I feel like I can be okay with the 9.5's up front, but I don't want to go 9.5 front and rear and I like the way my car sits and how it handles at the moment. |

Looks like you have the rear of your car pretty slammed. That is really going to limit you on tire and wheel fitment. I would raise the rear and you can run the 18x10.5 et 25 wheel in the back. Then pair with a 285/35/18 and that would be a pretty flush fitment. Titan 7 offer that set as a direct staggered fitment on the e90 M3.
Here is an example of my e92 with the staggered Titan 7 setup, lowered on swift springs

In that picture the tire specs were 265/35/18 and 285/35/18. Since then I switched to a 265/30/18 and 295/30/19 Yokohama AD08R. Wheels are 18x9.5 et 22 and 19x10.5 et 25 .

With some added camber you can, We have a track car here running 275/35/18 R7 Hoosiers setup in the front with the Titan wheels.

I looked up 275/30/18 and found no options on Tire rack. Should be a 275/35/18. Really depends on what tire brand you are looking to use and coil overs you are running. Like Jeff said might need to add camber depending on your setup.
Titan 7 also makes a 18x10 et 25 which would fit a 275 better for the front.

Does anyone else think my car is too low or has anyone else done a similar setup at that height? My car is really surprisingly functional being that is it really low to the ground and I feel like it distributes the weight better. I'd love to get these wheels but don't know if it's gonna fit.
EDIT: According to this, I think I can fit. https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...0-5&offset2=25 Last edited by IanMan; 10-10-2018 at 02:42 PM.. |

285/30/18 it is then lol. Car already tramlines quite aggressively so that should be exciting. Will probably only be a track set up because of this. Btw I have Ohlins R&T (Thanks to Jeff) |

Yeah still on the TS5's. Meant to say 295/30/18. There is going to be a very limited production of 19's for the e9x M3. Feel free to PM me for details.

IanMan,
Just to add some clarity here, the staggered fitment that Kevin suggested is spot on. We would recommend the following setup for your E90 M3: Front: 18x9.5" ET22 with 265/35-18 tires Rear: 18x10.5" ET27 with 285/35-18 tires - Direct fit. - Popular fitment. - Front 275/35-18 tires can also be used. - Rear 295/35-18 tires can be used but may require rolled fenders to prevent rubbing. This is our go-to fitment for the E9x M3 chassis for those drivers looking for a moderate upgrade over their OEM fitment. Ideal for the driver who wants to fill out the wheel wells with the widest possible rubber and perfectly flush offsets. We also have a pretty in-depth fitment guide written out (found here) with various fitments that work for the E9X M3 chassis. That might be of further help as you dial in your fitment. Hope this helps you in your search! - Max
