Emission inspections waiver in MA
Am I reading this correctly from Mass RMV that my 08 M3 no longer has to pass emission testing? Not that I am going to, but could I run test pipes now?
- Vehicles with onboard diagnostic systems manufactured after model year 2008 must pass an annual emissions test. |

It’s 15 years in MA to become emissions exempt. Still needs to pass safety inspection but it is not plugged in
