Bayoptiks headlights poor quality with yellowing and luminosity loss
Title says it all. I’ve noticed the color change 1 year into getting them and a significant difference in 2 years. I got them in 2021. I reached out to them and they said the rings will have to be replaced with anti yellowing resistance gel coated ones. However, I thought I already had these and I’ve seen people with gel coated ones as far back as 2018. So, how does this make any sense? I really don’t want to send them in again for a rebuild. Has anyone else had this issue? I spoke to a couple other people with the same problem, but no solution besides a rebuild. Has anyone tried coding the headlights to make them brighter and which app did you use? Anyways, I think it’s pretty sucky that his has to happen for custom headlights that are almost 2k! 😡

Yikes. Mine are still clear white, but that’s with maybe 4000 miles since the group buy.
My only complaint is wishing the DTM were brighter.

Make sure you get them replaced under warranty right when you start seeing some color discoloration because it’s too late for me.
