What have you done with or to your M3 today?

dropped it off at dealership for Blower Motor Wiring Recall ... or at least to have it checked out for it
hopefully they replace whatever needs to be replaced

at first the service advisor tried to charge me a diagnostic fee of $202 ...... say what???
i said i smell something plasticky in the A/C so the dealership wanted to charge me to "check out the A/C"
but the only reason why i'm concerned about the plasticky smell is because it could be a sign of the wiring melting or something
which is covered under the recall

so conclusion - took the diagnostic fee off
got a loaner
hopefully it's a quick and easy job with no other issues

and as soon as i finished posting that, i got a text message saying my service is done and car is ready for pickup......
it's been less than 3 hours
i'm going to assume there was nothing replaced ... probably going to tell me there's no concern and no need to replace anything

it's about right, they finished my car around 11/1130 when the wife dropped it off around 8.

They finished my car in around four hours when they did that and the airbag

replaced the "cable heater"
"short harness replacement"
no more worrying about my car spontaneously combusting

Varies on dealer. Mine took 5 hours. They didn't have any courtesy cars available either

Had new Apex ARC-8 anthrasite staggered wheels with new rubber put on, replacing th stock ones. Bumped up to 265s in the front and 285s rear getting ready for track day next month. Next up is camber plates to set up so I don’t chew them up in one outing.

Keep reading about the AC motor recall since quite some time. Checked with our dealers multiple times, they have no clue what I'm talking about. First thought maybe an US/warmer climate thing but seen also the UK folks getting the recall. Find it strange...
