How do you know this? That is AWESOME if true. I actually emailed them a couple weeks ago and pointed them to the coding instructions to enable this. I'm sure I'm not the first, but it's really exciting if they begin to offer it.

Do you have the very latest update to your app? They had an update recently that caused it to say exactly that... "coding not possible". They then did another update to the app on April 23rd that fixed that bug. See my posts above.

It is possible! I would get you the reference code, but it seems their website is down for now..I do remember that it is a one click option.
Are you looking to disable completely, or disable when you pull the stalk for windshield cleaning (after a # of cycles)? If it's the latter, look for the option that lets you choose the # of cycles and in there, you can disable. |

Does anyone know if Carly can make the E9x cars display the actual tire pressure value or not?

So I got my adapter from Amazon and I bought the $45 app from the apple app store.
I've been unable to successfully connect on either of my 2 bmw's. The procedure I'm doing is: 1. Start car and plug in adapter. 2. Go to wifi settings and connect to carlywifi on iphone. 3. Open carlybmw app 4. Select e92 coupe-m3-2009 5. Select connect. 6. App says attempting to connect forever. 7. Force quit app (annoying) 8. Try different connection settings. -enhanced, alternative, fast, normal, slow etc 9. Force quit app. Can someone please clarify the exact sequence and connections settings that need to be done for success? I'm about to send it back... Thanks |

I've tried all connection setting combinations with no luck. I've watched a few youtube's and it appears to connect seamlessly and fast. Mine just sits there spinning the 'wait' dial forever. Do you have to hold the phone someplace special, or be far enough from the house wifi so it doesn't interfere? I have bluetooth off. I'm running out of ideas. |

Whats the benefit of using wifi instead of bluetooth guys? Been using BT for long, never had any issues. Could wifi potentially receive more interference with its longer reach?

Was told that this is not possible in the E9x. Only available on the F platform.

Once you did that everything should work. If you are still having problems, check my vid in the signature and follow the described steps otherwise your dongle might be shot. As for connecting distance of your iphone to your Carly OBD2 WIFI adapter: I usually have it pretty close to the adapter. The second the connection is there, I even carry the phone around the car. ( mostly for oil filling and checking ) |
