How do you know this? That is AWESOME if true. I actually emailed them a couple weeks ago and pointed them to the coding instructions to enable this. I'm sure I'm not the first, but it's really exciting if they begin to offer it.

Do you have the very latest update to your app? They had an update recently that caused it to say exactly that... "coding not possible". They then did another update to the app on April 23rd that fixed that bug. See my posts above.

Also can't await it, that is so freaking awesome.
Same here numerous times I asked for it and finally they also saw the necessity for EURO MDM coding. Man, this is honestly AWESOME!!!!!!
I've been informed by David from Carly headquarters in munich.

It is possible! I would get you the reference code, but it seems their website is down for now..I do remember that it is a one click option.

Are you looking to disable completely, or disable when you pull the stalk for windshield cleaning (after a # of cycles)? If it's the latter, look for the option that lets you choose the # of cycles and in there, you can disable.

I just need my windshield washers to work. Headlight ones make everything messy. I'll look it up on the website, thanks!

Cars come silent over here but hear people make them beep with Carly, hence assume it should work fine the other way around.

Does anyone know if Carly can make the E9x cars display the actual tire pressure value or not?

So I got my adapter from Amazon and I bought the $45 app from the apple app store.

I've been unable to successfully connect on either of my 2 bmw's.

The procedure I'm doing is:

1. Start car and plug in adapter.
2. Go to wifi settings and connect to carlywifi on iphone.
3. Open carlybmw app
4. Select e92 coupe-m3-2009
5. Select connect.
6. App says attempting to connect forever.
7. Force quit app (annoying)
8. Try different connection settings. -enhanced, alternative, fast, normal, slow etc
9. Force quit app.

Can someone please clarify the exact sequence and connections settings that need to be done for success? I'm about to send it back...

Thanks

Hi thanks for the reply. I'm all up to date on the iPhone. I'm running iOS 9.3.1.

I've tried all connection setting combinations with no luck. I've watched a few youtube's and it appears to connect seamlessly and fast. Mine just sits there spinning the 'wait' dial forever.

Do you have to hold the phone someplace special, or be far enough from the house wifi so it doesn't interfere? I have bluetooth off. I'm running out of ideas.

Maybe you have a bad dongle. Seems like the app does recognize the wifi because if it didn't it would say something like please connect to wifi when you press the connect button.
I literally press the connect button from my seat and it connects in like 3 secs max.

Oh there was also a update the other day. Make sure you update to latest version

Whats the benefit of using wifi instead of bluetooth guys? Been using BT for long, never had any issues. Could wifi potentially receive more interference with its longer reach?

Out of curiosity, what are your settings on the attached screenshot?

In the carly app under more->info it says I have version 25.61-something I can't read because they formatted the screen window wrong.

btw..as someone who has fiddled with iOS development, this interface is as basic as it gets. lol

Was told that this is not possible in the E9x. Only available on the F platform.

As soon as you update your iphone, you have to erase the Carly app and load it fresh up.
Once you did that everything should work. If you are still having problems, check my vid in the signature and follow the described steps otherwise your dongle might be shot.
As for connecting distance of your iphone to your Carly OBD2 WIFI adapter:
I usually have it pretty close to the adapter. The second the connection is there, I even carry the phone around the car. ( mostly for oil filling and checking )
