Convertible looks better than Coupe?
That's what I think. Vert is more than 1 inch less in height than the coupe. The roof is flatter and has break lines from the folding top, so it looks more mechanical and visceral, symbolizing the power within. The more angular transition from the roof to the trunk also gives it a sense of hard-edgeness. The coupe is almost too smooth and soft, not as aggressive and masculine looking as the vert. Just my two cents.
Oh, and vert looks even better with the top down.

I think with blacked out trim, they both look great. I think the coupe looks slightly better personally as the roof line "flows" better at the back, but it's all a matter of taste (and I have a vert on order so I'm not saying that because I made that choice- not implying you are either).

Personal preference... I prefer the coupe by far. The vert's tail lights don't look as nice from the side and the lines in the roof really detract from the flow of the lines. Obviously IMO only.

Definitely prefer the coupe. Hate the look of the stock E93 with the top up...

Please state some specific reasons of why you like the look of one or the other, and please don't bring the weight issue in here since we are not discussing performance.

I love my vert but I prefer the coupe overall. I think the coupe looks more aggressive from the rear. And there are spoiler and trunk options versus the vert where there's only ugly options. From the front, both look pretty much the same. From the side, I don't prefer either one over the other. With the top down, vert looks better, duh! And the top-down experience in this car is priceless. I'd take it over the weight disadvantage any day. OK, so now I'm contradicting myself. I "used to" prefer the coupe but now prefer the vert.

I personally prefer the coupe, but the e93 is pretty sexy too. Even though you said not to, I have to bring in performance and practicality. It weighs almost 500 pounds more, plus has no trunk.

Top down the vert appears more aggressive to me than the coup. Top down the The vert also appears to look like more of an expensive car vs coup which looks close to a normal 3 series.

I think it depends on the color, the white and black E93s look like town cars to me.
At the time I ordered my E93 I wasn't crazy about the look of it with the top up, but it's grown on me, and now I agree it looks a bit more agressive than the E92. I think it looks better in person than in photos too. BTW nice color choices, I also have a SG/FR E93 |

It's great seeing the E93 finally getting some love in the these forums. It's usually the drag racers harping about weight when in reality they just couldn't ante up the extra cash for the vert. Come on you know you really want one.
