BMW Performance Knob vs M Performance Knob

Looking at these two knobs, and they seem the same aside from the CF + boot on the M Performance knob.

Do they both weigh the same and have the same height?

There's definitely a huge price difference between the two.

The silver one is heavier I’ve had both. The black one is prettier depending on the trim your car is equipped with.

Got it, thanks! I have silver trim and looking for a heavier knob. I'll definitely try out the older style.
