That's my jet black M3 on the lift. I did my homework before going to ACM and was not disappointed. Great group over there.

any specific reason why you replaced with wpc coated bearings as opposed to BE bearings?

I wish I wasn't a forum member and never knew about rod bearing issues. 2012 M3 with only 36K miles and rod bearings looks bad? Really? What we suppose to do replace them every 2-3 years to be safe? I bet %95 of M3 drivers out there that doesn't know about this problem (non-forum members) really enjoy driving this car without thinking..
