Used 2008 S65 M3 oil pan. Does not leak. I had a brand new oil pan installed when I had my rod bearings done.

I can take closer pictures if you'd like, but I believe the main drain plug was helicoiled. Otherwise they are good as new

I hate to be that guy...
....but you should disclose whatever is wrong with it that prompted you to install a new oil pan when you did your rod bearings. That's not a normal path to take.

The shop I took it to made the suggestion that since I"m going to be tracking this car, I should go ahead and get a new pan while they are there.

You're good with being that guy. Someone has to be.

That doesn't seem like common thing to replace even if you are tracking the car. It's not a wear item so unless it's damaged I don't see why they would recommend replacement.

It is however very common for the drain plug threads to get damaged from over torquing and improper install.
