How much did you pay for your used M3?

I'm always the guy at the club meets who says "I don't like Jerez", because it reminds me too much of Carbon Black from the E46 days, but ... DAYUM son, that paint looks wet in the pics. Nice flat dash, and you got PDC and heated seats too.

This was well bought. Better get some ceramic coat on that paint.

It looks great the minute after it gets washed. Then it starts attracting dust. About an hour after the car is dried it looks like it needs to be washed again. By the following day people would be saying "Damn, son - do you ever wash that thing?"

LOL, well, yeah all that is true! I loved, and still do, that color, though. But you're right, when I had mine I did have to wash it a bunch, lol!

BMW always like to experiment with blue in their black paints. Even Jet Black has blue in it, but fortunately no metallic to bring it out as a shimmer, it just adds depth to the paint.

Back in the 90s when I took a couple weeks off in Quebec, I went car shopping and spotted a couple of M3 coupes in Montreal Blue. It was a real weird color that reminded me of when the first hard rain of the spring would bring up an oil shimmer on the pavement.

Prices in Canada tend to be a little lower than US.

There's a 2010 Alpine White edition with rod bearings and throttle actuators replaced with 83k miles listed for approx. C$30.8k ~ US$23k. Definitely an outlier in terms of pricing.

I'm quite sure that he converted the price to USD already. He said in the post above that he basically paid full asking price which was around 41K CAD.

32.5K CAD would have been a steal for sure lol.

I don't get this transaction price. In the US this would have been listed at $50 or $60 just because its a limited edition frozen color.

Was there anything with this car besides being in Canada as to why it was listed pretty low?
