Car looks amazing!

I haven't seen anyone with any luck in getting an exact match of the reflectors. A guy told me the other day he had his whole bumper painted with the reflector covers at the same time and it still doesn't match 100%. I think it has to do with the angle and the different material. Could be totally wrong though,

very clean look. I've seen iND painted reflectors come out with very nice results.

Any plans for front/rear lip, or diffuser?

Why the preference on not wrapping the chrome trim?

I ended up going with IND painted reflectors until I can get a Euro front, which i held off ordering because I change cars more often than underwear and kinda wanted to wait and see if owning a 'vert stuck with me. So far, so good ... but I'll be moving to Seattle this summer, so things may change.

Anyway, the painted reflectors have proven fine. In may photos there's only a faint hint of them.

I have no plans for rear lip or diffuser. Only things left on my list for this car (if I keep it) are the euro front and a supercharger (plus x-pipes). Maybe some custom leather work on the seats, as I hate the all black interior.

As for the chrome trim ... I actually don't mind it; have left the OE grille, side gills and belt-line trip alone. Also the first car of the 40 or so I've owned where I didn't tint the windows. I prefer the clear glass on a convertible so it looks open with the top is down and windows up (like on the freeway or on cooler days).

Car looks good, dude. Really like what you've done. I would think a hardtop convertible would be awesome in the Northwest. Some of my favorite days with the convertible are overcast days with the cool, damp air. Wear a sweater and turn on those seat warmers if need be!

Your car actually doesn't look bad with the chrome, but I would do the trim, grills, and and gills in gloss black if it were my car.

Thanks. I agree, it's the overcast and cool(er) days that actually make top-down motoring more pleasurable. Even on mild days here in AZ, if the sun is out -- and it's always out -- it can feel hot.

In fact, I had an E46 M3 convertible just for fun while living in the UK ... and any day I could drive it with the top down was a good day.

Wow! Gorgeous house and car! That photo is great, too. Looks like a magazine cover for Euro Driver magazine.

UK, Phoenix, Seattle. Nice houses. Flashy cars. I want to be you when I grow up, dude. Where'd I go wrong?
