It’s not slower, you can code out the piped in sound and the low end torque will be welcome. Plus new tech will be great for me.

It’s not as raw though. Not even close.

Since when? BMW numbers said it was same if not slower. On road tests even had the E9X lower than 4 (anecdotal but recorded).

Less HP. More torque sure.

If not M3 -> M3 or higher, I consider it a downgrade. Nothing really wrong with that, just wondering the reason behind it.

A dct m2 pulls two car lengths on a manual e90.

All good though. Let’s get back to this car sale!

At the end the M2 pulled on him by five car lengths so I guess it's a wrap.

Ok. Let’s not keep hijacking the thread. The m2 is 31k more than I’m asking for this car. So you can have this car and an e46 m3 track car or an r32 skyline and run circles around an m2.

Basically this car is a deal!!

And I definitely agree with this. Has several things I wish my car had - manual, black interior and exterior, window shades.

It is a very good deal and if you wanted to upgrade back into one you won't find this deal again!

Beautiful car, but because of the shade I can't tell if that interior is silver or white?

That does not sound right. Your mechanic went all the way to open up the engine from bottom and check the bearings (by removing it and installing it back again) but you didn't want him to install new ones or touch the engine?

PM me for details about this guy. I really really didn't want to take the risk. I understand it doesn't make sense on the outside but there were reasons. I have no issues with getting it done somewhere else though.

Also if I had it done I wouldn't have the peace of mind its supposed to bring. I'd actually be MORE concerned so it wasn't worth it.

The interior to silver. Thanks for the compliment.

I'm doing the thermostat and water pump this week.
