Tons of people say oh I added x with the MPE and it sounds great. Then they post the video and its nothing but endless amounts of rasp. Seems like plenty of people just want loud and don't care about tone. That simply isn't me. If it doesn't sound good, don't make it loud.
In the end, I ditched the MPE and replaced it with a corsa rear section, and couldn't be happier. Sounds fantastic with test pipes.

100 percent agree, when I went TPs with the MPE it sounded horrendous, especially at full throttle it sounded like you were being chased with a hundred chainsaws. I just love the tone of the MPE and just want more of it, that "hollow resonance" between 3500-4500 is just beautiful. I'm curious if a resonated double x-pipe will increase the volume while keeping the rasp at bay. Corsa + TPs does sound beautiful as well.
