Shaker hood

Has anyone cut the hump out of their hood, to create a shaker hood?
I know it would be purely cosmetic, but it would show the beast a little better! Especially with a carbon fiber intake manifold (to match the roof, mirrors, spoiler).

The hood bulge is the appeal for a lot of folks and it looks like it would be a nightmare in the rain.

You should try it. Use a sawzall and remove 3 plug wires so it shakes more.

This is the same guy who couldn’t tell if the smoke coming from his car was out of the exhaust or the tires from breaking traction. I think that sums it up.

I have an '06 Saleen with a super shaker directly attached to the S/C and there are dumps for the water. I've driven it through torrential downpours with zero issues (except for traction of course!). I was worried about the same thing until I got stuck in a massive rain storm coming home from San Diego to LA!
