Speed District: 5/31/2013 Willow Springs Raceway (3 HR Track Time & more)

When: Friday, May 31, 2013
Where: Willow Springs Raceway (Road Course)
Racing from: 8am-5pm
Drivers Meeting: 7:15am (Sharp) Try and get there before!
Participates Accepted: 50 (That is it, no one extra will be accepted.)

Your run group goes on once a hour, you should be literally getting two track days in one. All the cars around you are high end automobiles, and the owners do not want to scratch/damage their cars just as you don't want to. The incredible opportunity to receive private driving instruction from our professional driver (Jordan Yost) will be available on the registration page. If you're a beginner on the track, he will jump in the car with you, teach you the proper breaking points, teach you the line and assist with issues/questions/help/etc you may need;they are there for you. Even if you are a professional and just need to shave some lap time off, he will be able to provide very useful advice as they do this for a living. We will include a photo CD ($65 value) & timing transponder ($20 value) in your general admission fee. You can see your car in action and receive some AWESOME pictures of your car on the track. (Examples: Click here)

Reserve your spot before they are all sold!
Event Registration: http://speeddistrict.com/item/events...n-may-31-2013/

Most of our members are from M3Post! You are guaranteed to have a blast! Whether you are a beginner or a professional driver, our events are for you. This event is properly spaced out and broken down into different run groups (by skill), so you will feel at ease on the track. You'll be safe and surrounded by good company.

General admission will include THREE hours of track time, transponder rental and photography cd.

Feel free to ask any questions, I will probably answer them or someone that has been to our events before can.

Example of the pictures from our last buttonwillow event: http://www.flickr.com/photos/6868450...7631670068795/

Hope to see you at the track.

Complete track noob. Highly Interested in event. I have for the most part a stock car. I know its dependent of driver but how much brake pad life is required for the event? (Stock brakes)

No worries, the first time I went out I had alot more questions..

5mm left. A Stock car for your first track day is more than enough. I would recommend purchasing a tire gauge to check your tire pressure throughout the day so you get the most life out of your tires.

Check this out, it will help answer some questions. http://www.speeddistrict.com/-html-/media/tech.pdf

I also signed up for the pro driver instruction. How does that work? Do you get an allocated # of laps/minutes with the instructor?

Getting excited. I'll pick up a tire pressure gauge.

Recommended PSI for PSS 265,285/18?

Sweet! The instructor will sit with you for a full 20 minute session, after that he is free to grab through out the day.

I would say you want to be 34-36 warm, which will probably be 30ish cold. We will talk at the track and give you more feedback.

What does 5mm of brake pad equate to in terms of mileage? It says on the car computer to replace front pads in 9,000mi and rear pads in 8,000 miles. Sufficient for the track?

just take it out on the 31st and find out if it is...

You should be good with your brakes... but expect to change them out following this event.. Hopefully you are still under the maintenance plan ..

Just check all fluids, make sure your tires are good, and see you on the 31st.

Yes, you are good to go. Authorize.net has a issue with the site, I'm still trying to figure it out.

Glad your coming out.
