This is pretty much every thing I scenario up. I’ve got E90 and E46. F10 is just too too much for city but bliss for the highway.

I’d go with the following: E46, S65 E91 and F80. All forms of motor and body shapes

I can confirm about the F10. It's a cruise missile but it's just numb at anything less than triple-digit speeds. My E46 was soooo much fun. put a stupid grin on my face every time I drove it but it was a bit long in the tooth. The e9x platform is the best of all worlds and it has aged exceptionally well.

You must be talking about a different platform - my E92 M3 hasn't aged one bit.

If it was me, I'd be looking at a Z3M or Z4M Coupe. 3 pedals, low driving position. Not to mention the S50 or S54 engine note.....

Garage List
2020 BMW X3 M40i   [0.00]
2009 BMW M3  [0.00]
So next to me e90 M3, I have what the crazy Tesla people call an M3P (before I get flamed I do not call it that unless I want to razz my BMW friends) and then my wife's Mini.

I have an E90 M3 also and my other M car is a Z4 M Coupe. I don't have a cool garage shot but it's a completely different kind of M and gives you a ton of lookback along with collectibility even if you drive the pants off of it as I have.

My Z4

To go next to a street E90 M3 - a dedicated track E92 M3... these cars are so much fun on the track, so much fun

Then an X5M & open aluminum trailer to tow said E92 M3 to the track...

I'm sure I'm not alone in this.... what 2nd M would (or have) you like to own alongside your e9x m3 and why?
E46M3 coupe manual and E39M5... don't have either but would be nice !!!
