And btw after replacing your battery twice, ever noticed more than say 12.4v when you've opened the car? (i.e. stuff start to drain) Never been more than so for me even with new batteries, in fact typically 12.3v with load on a new/charged battery.
And what voltage do you measure with engine started? |

Yup! That's completely typical. Either put the battery on a tender or disconnect it if leaving it for long storage.
