e92 18 inch on an e46

The new car will be here in about 4 weeks. In the meantime, I'm running my spare set of wheels on the e46. What do you think? By the way I've always run 19s on this car with PS2s, and the ride with 18s is awesome.

They do fill the fenders nicely, but there is an 18mm difference in front wheel offset between stock and the e92 wheels. This might be too much, but I'm only going to drive on them for a month or so.

Poppycock, the 18" alloys look brilliant on the E92, as it does on the E46 as well. And I totally agree with you on the ride quality, that's part of the reason why I stuck with the stock rims and the looks and the improved steering feel.

I bought them from another member here on the board. Very professional guy and an efficient painless deal. I had a deal for another set of 18s from ebay go bad previously.

I think you will be looking at accellerated wear of the front wheel bearings. I wouldn't worry about that. I replaced my around 55k miles running slightly less agressive offset.
Steering feel (feedback) should improve significantly over stock.
Scrub radius is changed in the front suspension geometry. I doubt you can notice this on street tires.
