Ft. Lauderdale boat show that weekend (and Swedish House Mafia concert), so won't be making it, but take tons of pictures!

The boat show is definitely fun. It's basically the same thing as a car show except with 10 times as many boats and lots of parties. I go every year now for business because I'm a maritime attorney, but I used to go as a kid growing up too. Unlike the Miami Car Show, the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show is the biggest show in the western hemisphere. If you've never been, you should definitely take advantage of the opportunity to go.

They serve alcohol at most, but I don't know that there is a strict age policy. Never seen a guy checking IDs if that's what you mean.
