The Mille Miglia Museo was on my radar for a LONG time now. I finally had the chance to to visit this awesome piece of living Italian tradition. This museum isn't as large as it looks from the aerial photo.... but I found the museum quite cool. I'd say the museum is a medium sized. I really enjoyed some of the obscure small Italian cars from the past. Most I found super cool examples of Italian engineering. Plus the guy at the front desk was super nice and informative about all things Mille Miglia.


One thing about this museum... I found it hard to figure out how to enter the museum grounds. After the small traffic circle... you make a right into this large red framed "wall"(see my photo above)... once inside the "wall"... you have to drive ALL the way down the side of the building... then around the corner thru the potholed parking lot, then around the next corner of the building. You will then see the restaurant(on your right) and the museum's entrance(on your left). This sounds pretty straight forward... but honestly I had a hard time figuring the way into the museum grounds. I guess it didn't help that it was raining on this day. lol

Wow! Loved all of them. That engine turned dash in that Fiat was so nicely machined. Would really like to see the museum in person...but for sure your photos make for a pretty good substitute to visiting. Thanks.

Thanks. It was a really cool place. It's open every day of the year and you can tell the people here have a passion about the Italian culture & history of the Mille Miglia. It was one of my favorite museums.
