SSII + Powdercoated 220Ms + 18R/15R spacers

Got these done at a local place in gloss black and could not be happier with the results. IMO, spacers are mandatory if your running 220s.

Thanks buddy! That was the exact reason I went with gloss. Love the wet look that matches all the trim pieces. Gloss black OEM badge from IND looks perfect now.

You will not regret it. Order some spacers if you have not already done so too

Way to go Alex. Car is looking so much better than the last time I saw it! 1 more week until the meet

Btw, got myself a set of used OEM X-pipe. Will chop off secondaries, so my car will be running full catless + 2 resonators + Borla S-type. Let's see if this setup is finally going to work. Donnie and I are also trying to see how we can add electric cut outs on our exhausts too haha

Thanks man. Donny was telling me he was looking for an x-pipe, did he find one too? What do you mean by electric cut outs? Very interested in seeing your set up next week. I'll have the UUC SSK and DSSR on my car by then too so we can all see first hand if it makes our 6sp trannys that much better. Looking at the parts alone in person gives me a good feeling.

He actually went to pick it up today! So happy for him haha. Now we'll all have modded exhausts for the meet. We are trying to figure out how to do a Valvetronic system (like the IPE one) on our exhausts haha. Just toying with the idea and seeing if it's even possible.

Can't wait to see the SSK will do to your car. To be honest I've never even tried a car with SSK. Right now, I'm completely happy with my MT, but who knows, that could change by next Saturday.

I'm happy for him too. He keeping the OEM rear section? Valvetronic sound interesting but for me I can not think of a time I would actually want my car to be quiet haha. Shift from 1-2 and 2-3 under high load leaves a lot to be desired and this should clean it up a good bit. I'm leaving the height as high as possible as i'm not interested in shortening the throw as much as just making the while assembly more direct and robust like modern Audi shifters.
