MSRP of that E90 M3 was at least $68,000, so a $16,500 depreciation hit for the 10,000 miles - in 7 months at the most- sounds about right.

The interior looks like crap already, though...

Crap?

All it needs is a good vacuuming.

The leather (driver seat and steering wheel) looks "shiny" already (I don't think that it is the flash), like it has been used a lot without any proper cleaning or conditioning. Once the leather start looking "shiny" it is difficult to get it back in shape; this Fox Red interior looks to me like a CPO E90 M3 interior in my local dealer, with the same "shiny" leather in just 9,000+ miles. I never had that issue with the Nappa leather of my old E46 M3 in 42 months/36,000 miles of driving.

A little OT but what do you use for a leather conditioner and how often? Thanks.

For the OP, I think it is a good price, although if you want to stretch and get a lightly optioned 08 new with 0.9% financing, you could have a similar or even better monthly payment (depending on the market for used car financing now.)

http://www.spinneybeck.com/shop/prod...ProductID=1798 ... perhaps once every other month, or as soon as the leather get stained/dirty.

This is consistent with every vehicle that I've seen with leather interior (...which is why I use BMW ///M driving gloves and BMW sport seat covers). Hand/body oils are the cause of the shine. I've seen plenty of Nappa interiors that share similar results. Despite that, the interior is a far cry from 'looking like crap.'
