Probably would involve some level of custom fabrication both in mounting and coding. When the F8X first launched, several people asked and tried, but I don't believe anybody has successfully done so.

Coding should be same as race seats, would probably require some wiring work to make the power and heating functions work.

More involved would be to get the side airbags working, the easy route is coding them out like many do with race seats, but if they aren't hugely different setups, there might be a way to get them working also.

+1

if you are gonna spend money... might as well get some sportsters which hug you nicely or full buckets (they all have leather options too if you were looking for that OEMish finish)

Without side airbags? That might be a huge decision factor for somebody

There is a guy that had an E90 M3, he fitted the zcp comp seats in. Its on this forum, so I am sure if you do a quick search, he will come up. The guy was really lucky, got the seats at an amazingly good price (practically free). I have been looking for a set of black cloth zcp seats myself for my 2011 E92 M3. Summer is around the corner, so we might have to go to a wrecking yard to salvage some seats.

Happy hunting mate.
