I ran -4* on my E92 at times, depending on tires and a few other setup settings. But often it resulted in too much inside wear so ended up backing it down.

Honestly it was less about wanting to, and more about being surprised that it was possible. Thought I would be limited to around -3.5. I know the older bimmers love neg camber, was just curious if anyone has tried that much. At this point I expect to run with a bit less.

as the dynamic suspension geometry has improved the need to dial in static camber has decreased over time. -3.3* has done well for me. People have plotted the camber curves for each generation for you to compare if you care to dig.

I think most will be between -3.0 and -3.5 degrees of camber on the E9X. The dual link front control arm design on the E9X is better and reduces the dynamic camber change vs the old wishbone on the E46 and earlier models.

On my E46 I run -4.1 degrees of camber, I could probably get away with -3.8. I cord the insides of the front tires first. For that reason, I believe that -4.0 on an E9X M3 is a bit much.
