You get brakes?

I have speiglers up front. No idea if they are the best or not. No complaints.

Nope stock still

I've had solid guide pins and titanium shims that I've never used yet so want to slap all of these together and see if I actually feel anything different.

I've read that the guide pins may seize if not greased/maintained regularly, something to consider. And I really enjoyed having my Ti shims in the last time out, I do think they helped keep the heat out of the fluid for a bit longer.

I'm no expert, but the shims seem kinda scammish.

I'm not saying don't run them... I mean, I did coat the lower part of my intake with gold heat shroud. LoL

I was seeing my brake pedal go soft at the tail end of a 25-minute session (regularly). Since then I added rear track pads, decided to stick with SRF all the time (was trying Motul 600 again), and added 1mm Ti shims up front. On my last outing the brakes lasted for each session and only got slightly soft on me one time but nowhere near as bad as before. It was a bit cooler out too which I'm sure helped. Anyway, not sure if the Ti shims alone would have solved my problem but if they even gave me a few more minutes of hot-lapping it was worth it. I am admittedly hard on my brakes also, still learning!

I've heard the shims keep the heat in the pads/rotors and can cause them to wear faster though. That said, I guess I'd rather go through pads faster than boil my fluid.

Do you run stock rotors as well? If so, it might be worth upgrading those first. The Stoptech and PFC OEM rotors are supposed to have more vents and run cooler.

All done. Nice and sturdy, but easily removable. I could do it by myself if I needed to!

The supports were close enough to tig a tab on it. He made a tab to fit into the rail with his plasma cutter so it is slightly adjustable. With something like this, you want it to be tight but slightly flexible. If it is too rigid, it won't flex with the car.

Garage List
Technically with how tall roastbeef is, he only needs to lift the wheels waist high to get them on the roof.

All that extra muscle mass roastbeef has is costing him at least 1-2 seconds. Definitely throwing off the weight balance
