You literally need to take everything off. That carpet is the most annoying one to remove because it goes around some anchors under the center console. There's always the scissor option

One thing I didn't realize, was how heavy the trunk is. I took the struts off. I always shut it softly by hand anyways, but still.
I'd like a paper thin trunk and mount a wing on the body sides.
