Engine whine

Hi everyone,

I’ve been experiencing a strange engine whine for the past couple of months. It only sounds at a certain point of the gas pedal.

I found this video on youtube with the same noise:

Does anybody know what it could be related to?

Louder when you rev or does it go away? Stay the same?

It is correlated to the travel of the gas pedal and it only sounds at a certain point of it. From my point of view it has to be air related, maybe some kind of air leak at the intake.

Any thoughts?

OP, I've red about similar whistling which turned out to be a small leak in the plenum, iirc for instance at the rear hose. Give it a search mate, heres one: https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1417824
