2011 E93 M3 Thump thump thump sound at 20 mph. You can slightly feel it but hear it a little more from right side of vehicle. It’s not that loud but if I accelerate past 20 mph it goes away. Anyone have an issue like this? Would it be control arm bushings or trans mount? Or more likely tires? Running 7-9 year old pilot sports.

Edit: (added video which includes the thumping sound)

Going to be hard to diagnose with out a video or something.
Does it make and sound or feeling slower than 20mph or is it only at that speed...

I’ve added a YouTube link of the sound in the top post. It sounds louder when I move the camera to right seat passenger area.

Hmm isn’t wheel bearing more of a grinding sound? Could be though.

Swap front wheels/tires to see if the sound moves to driver side to determine if it’s the older tire(s)
Does it change with speed? Wheel bearings are easy to change up front

Looks like I’ll have to give that a shot and switch them. When changing speeds no new sound is introduced, but the tempo of the thump thump thump is increased or decreased with speed. It’s audible around 15-25 mph (most audible at 20 mph). Anything past 25 mph it’s hard to hear with exhaust or road noise.

Note* it’s also felt the most at 20 mph. Higher speeds appears to “smooth it out”
