Fine and Dandy Here

My wife and I went out to Mineola for a burger lunch last Saturday with a BMWCCA group by a very roundabout route.

I'm planning to go on a Sunday morning drive with DFW Auto Club on 8/29. I think there are still spots for that one.

One other thing:
If you haven't seen the "I drive flat out" video, watch it here: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=419239. It's a hoot.

how's everyone doing? my how life goes on, nawaaz really didn't come back, dev's moving into a gt-r, etc...

blake, would love to meet you and your crazy gt-r, are you still selling it?

as for me, working 80-110 hours a week so haven't been able to make a c&c in quite some time but hopefully sometime later this year...been thinking a lot about wheels lately, whatever they are i want them a matte gunmetal/charcoal color, maybe powdercoating a set of ZCP 19's (OEM look, quality), or advan RS, or VM710 for a cheap set...also something about the alloy technic mesh 20's is really pleasing to my eye as well, but not sure i want to go to 20's on my daily driver...p40's too expensive for me right now.

appreciate any thoughts, especially on strength/durability vs price, i drive on some terrible roads over here in uptown and surrounding areas!

ps drive safely and be careful out there, esp at night when people are drinking, or if you ride motorcycles. seen way too many horrible traumas

there is drone between 2-3k rpm but my remus did that before the resonator delete. Its loud but I like the way it sounds for now! I will probably get it changed and make it quieter for sure in the future but as of now I still really like it.

The ZCP's are a great choice. I expect them to be very durable, and the cost is reasonable. I like Advan RS too. Give Peter a call on when the 19" Alloy Technic mesh's will be available. I was talking to him about them maybe a month ago at one of the DFW AC Saturday meets. It sounded like they were definitely going to do them.

So I killed a set of track pads at Harris Hill Road last month and needed new pad wear sensors. Had my car in at Advantage Downtown today and they quoted me $48 per sensor and $150 to install. Well I found them for $18 at Turner Motorsports and needless to say, I'll be doing the install myself. Man I am sick of that dealership!!

In other news, heard my exhaust gets shipped next week...which is pretty sweet

I think Peter sold his car. There is a black with modular h1's in dealership with extras.

Sure looks like it. He uses his cars for advertising (demoing wheels). My guess is that to some extent drives a fairly high turnover rate.

Got my money back and now IND has it. I WILL NEVER buy from a private seller again

Meets are casual, social, and variable. The location is great with shade all the way up to noon. There's usually 15 to 20 cars if the weather's good with maybe 10 regulars, 5 to 7 occasional attendees and 2 or 3 new people. There's a real mix of ages and cars which I like. There's often something interesting to see. Last week Flyinmedic was there with his freshly Dallas Performance modified 770 RWHP Z06 as was Rick Berg with his modified Scud. The sound was incredible when they left together for a drive.
