I think the R8 looks so cool, but if think performance, GTR may be better, but overall, M3 is the best...

I don't care if the Nissan outperformed a Ferrari 430. You'd still be driving a Datsun... er, I mean Nissan. Also, WTF WRT nissan.com! Let it go already Datsun!
Imagine the first date, Girl: "So, what kind of car do you drive?", You: "Oh, a Nissan - BUT a really special Nissan!" The Audi looks great, but damn, it looks like a Nissan 300Z with fancy headlights and side do-hickies that look like they were bolted on as after thoughts. Imagine the first date, Girl: "So, what kind of car do you drive?", You: "Oh, an Audi - The really awesome R8!", Girl: "What's an R8?" The M3 is performance and class. Built to impress only those who know what it is and could care less about anyone who doesn't. Imagine the first date, Girl: "So, what kind of car do you drive?", You: "Oh, a BMW" Nothing more needs to be said - or explained. Then she sees it and you're laid. |

I test drove the GT2 and in all honesty it doesn't feel much faster than a TT. It does ride quite a bit harsher though. The premium is $50k at a local dealer, but they are willing to see "what the market will value it as". Ridiculous.

First choice would be R8. It's an exotic. It's a head turner. It's sex.
Second choice would be the GTR. The power to destroy anything on the road...wow. And by anything...I mean I would only be scared of an Enzo rolling up next to me...and even then, I wouldn't be that scared. Plus the cock pit looks like a Jet fighter!!!! But I would NEVER complain about having an M3 of course. ha. |

It may not feel faster, but it is. Its only 3 seconds slower around the "ring" than the Carrera GT. It does have a harsher ride, it has a setup that can go on the track and street. But you would be crazy to track a $190,000 car. I also just love the way it looks, out of hand.
