Engine fault!
Not sure if in the right thread or not but my m3 has decided to turn its Christmas lights on!!
I haven’t driven her for about 3 weeks but when I last drove everything was running fine and no issues what so ever. I turned it on this morning and I got these messages! Engine fault reduced power DBC failure FTM system error Start assistance inactive DSC failure Any ideas where I can start! I’ll plug my machine shortly and get some codes as well and see if there’s anything obvious! Thanks |

Lots of random errors + not being driven for a few weeks is often times the battery charge being low.

I 2nd this. Battery issues cause all the finicky ecu’s to freak out. Don’t for a second think all those systems just failed.

I’ve had a trickle charger on it for those 3 weeks as well due to something happening similar before! The only fault I was getting then was battery voltage low!!

I was getting similar errors inconsistently and thought it was the battery, but it ended up being the throttle actuators. Get a obdii code reader and check the errors codes.
